The rush of passengers in the Delhi Metro has suddenly increased. Because of this, once again the record number of passengers traveling in the metro was broken on Monday. On Monday, more than 71 lakh journeys were done by people (passenger journey) in Delhi Metro, which is now the highest.
Passengers increased in metro due to route diversion
The number of passengers has also increased in all other corridors of Delhi Metro including Yellow Line, Blue Line, Red Line and Metro of Airport Express Line. It is also being linked to the increased security arrangements and route diversion due to the G20 conference.
