The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (UPPSC) Provincial Civil Service-Judicial (UP PCS-J) Exam is held annually to recruit candidates for the post of Civil Judge. The result of the UP PCS-J Recruitment Examination 2022 was declared last month. Every year, thousands of aspirants prepare themselves for this exam but only a few of them have the chance to clear the exams and the process to become a government official. The determination and hard work of the selected candidates are no less than an inspirational story. One of them is Ahad Ahmed from Barai Harakh village in the Nawabganj area of Prayagraj.
Ahad is the second son of Shahzad Ahmed who runs a small bicycle puncture shop in the village. Due to the financial crunch, his mother also sews clothes to earn a little extra money. Until a few years ago, Ahad also used to repair punctured tires and help his mother in her work. The achievement of Ahad has elated the entire village. Ahad’s father reportedly has been the constant support during the preparation of the exams. He secured 157 rank in UP PCS-J in his first attempt without any coaching and relied on the resources he had.
